By Lim Yong Wei In ‘Blooms in Red’, I explore the traditional symbolism of prosperity in Asian culture, particularly through the vibrant hues of gold and red. Drawing inspiration from Japanese customs like wearing kimonos during celebrations such as the New Year and weddings, I infuse bright red tones with blooming peonies and floral motif.
